Mrs Jocelyn Khoo, the one whom Prof Shichida has personally appointed in the year 2000 to develop a comprehensive english-based Shichida course for children beyond Japan would be sharing with the world on why we need more children for a better world with a new system of Parenting.

Our Priority
The human race is clearly entering a new stage of evolution.
It is worthy to note what Dr Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 Astronaut and Founder of Institute of Noetic Sciences USA think of him. Dr Mitchell spent twenty years studying human consciousness. In his book, “The Way of The Explorer” he commented that “the work of educator Makoto Shichida in Japan is of particular significance”. He further said that ”the results have shown that prodigious learning skills are available and can be maintained from the cradle. Eidetic imagery is strengthened and maintained so that the children are soon capable of reading with virtually perfect retention nearly as fast as they can turn the pages of a book.”
Prof Shichida expressed his wish to Jocelyn in the year 2001:
I believe that to raise children who will be capable of soaring up into the 21st Century, it is necessary for us to wake up to the fact that unknown and unexplainable abilities do exist. And it is necessary to put new methods of education into practice that will develop these special abilities.

A World Peace Prize For Professor Makoto Shichida
The Shichida Method of Education systematically stimulates children’s brains according to their developmental age. It simultaneously cultivates children's intelligence and aesthetic sensibility. The Method provides the framework for cultivating children's learning skills. The Shichida Method is changing the lives of children and parents around the world.
The late Professor Makoto Shichida started the Shichida Educational Institute with the motivation to enlighten parents on how children can achieve amazing results through the courses he had developed.
Professor received the distinguished World Peace Prize in 1998. He was also awarded a Grand Knight title and holds the title of ‘Sir’ in his honour. In 2003, he was conferred the Swedish Academy for Health and Medical Sciences Grand Prize and the prestigious Higashikuninomiya Invention Award. The Higashikuninomiya Invention Award is attributed to his efforts in promoting inventions. This invention award is given to people who, for many years, place emphasis on developing creative ideas and intelligence quotient (IQ).

Jocelyn Khoo
Shichida Education Specialist
Jocelyn is a Singapore educator in the area of brain-mind enrichment and has conducted seminars for more than 80,000 parents to date. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Social Work and Psychology. She also received an MBA in 1994 from the UK in which her dissertation was on Total Quality Management (TQM) in education development.
She has travelled extensively and received specialised training with various renowned research scientists and brain-based educators from Japan, USA, UK and Australia. Being passionate about the human learning potential, it is her personal goal to encourage others, parents especially, to view things from a fresh angle in her seminars. Her seminars and programmes are transforming people and lifting perceptions to new heights.

More comments of scientists such as the famous Prof Win Wenger of Harvard University affirmed that the Shichida children are indeed raised through a foundation that is going to become a futuristic phenomenon.
I have found Professor Shichida to be a loving, compassionate man. He deeply loves children and has been willing to keep an open mind to make these unanticipated discoveries about learning the right-brain way.
The activities that I observed were game-like, taking no more than a few minutes each, held the children’s interest, looked like fun, and seemed to build on innate abilities.
Many of his pioneer batches are now adults with phenomenal abilities. It behooves us to keep an open mind and to further investigate these phenomena. It is hard to ignore the
magnitude of this evidence, whatever the scientific explanations may turn out to be.
