Unique Class Routines

unique routine

Everyday, class teachers start with a routine on Body-Mind-Brain relaxation exercises, reciting the Superachievers' Pledge, and enjoying a brain arousal and stimulation session through techniques designed to fire up the connection of dendritic nerves.

Children explore exercises on coordination of various bodily movements to improve thinking, visual sharpness, auditory memory and concentration. High frequency and intensity of movements strengthen cellular efficiency in learning performance.

With this regular routine, children also record how well they can do their written work by understanding the effectiveness of such exercises. The body language is reflected through their senses and as such these children feel responsible towards their own learning potential.

At Shichida Kindergarten, children learn how to take charge of what they can develop with selected materials given to them. They will be guided by teachers to ask questions so as to cultivate interest in research until they are able to make up their own questions. They will be guided in thinking outside the box, have rich creativity and good observation skills. There will be opportunities to focus on the children's innate qualities. Building on these qualities, the teacher rewards the class by using games that make them think faster or images that challenge their visualization ability.

In music training, music concentration techniques are used to cultivate good attention span. Art lessons are designed to lengthen a child's patience in enriching a piece of work over a longer duration with more intensity and thoughts put into it. All these are not conducted quickly because of limited time but are structured to motivate a child to recall feelings and add more content to works of creation over a period like a month. In our class theme booklets, these are featured. The final work of art may be turned into a product, framed for exhibition or put up for a good cause.

A Humanitarian project is being built into our curriculum and parents will be involved. This is a practical aspect of turning our children into presenters. If they are too young, Parents lead the way.... Are you not proud to show your child the secret of successful leaders by starting with yourself?
