Why was this Kindergarten developed?
"Some years ago, I envisioned the establishment of the Shichida Kindergarten, as many parents on The Shichida Method have been requesting for a preschool programme that can further develop their children. For example, a parent gave feedback that she discovered at a normal kindergarten, 4 year old children were learning numbers 1 to 20, while her own child, at 3 years old, was able to recite up to 100. It is frustrating for children who can read and write early, that they still have to go through the "regular" worksheets for pre-writing skills, etc.
At Shichida Kindergarten, we are confident that every child is treated uniquely as they are given personalized attention on their work quality. Each day's experience will motivate a child to look forward to the next one."
What is the difference between Shichida Kindergarten and other preschools?
"Children in Shichida Kindergarten are inspired to learn with the way their brains are growing. Our curriculum goes beyond normal early childcare theories of Piaget and Erikson, etc. For example, many educators will not pay attention to the 3 ears (outer, middle and inner ears) that impact learning quality nor the vision system and visual skills in tapping inner eye potential and physical vision abilities. Not all preschool educators are trained in drawing out the natural abilities that all children possess."
What is the difference between The Shichida Method and Shichida Kindergarten?
"The Shichida Method focuses on drawing out the innate potential of children through parental bonding and developmental levels of the mind-brain stages.
The Shichida Kindergarten, however, compliments other aspects of growth by focusing:
1) on holistic learning experiences to draw out the four aspects of the human spirit for setting learning directions and aspirations
2) on a child's heart so that he/she will become more observant in using innate and physical senses
Shichida Kindergarten will be very beneficial to a child because he/she will perceive the interconnection of information and stimulate the creation of new knowledge. For instance, instead of showing a child an apple, we will show the child 5 types of apples and raise the sensitivity in knowledge mastery through say, 20 goals. What are these? Differentiating the apples’ place of origin, planting methology, the emotional frequency of fruits, the life span of fruits, the essence of life, the use of apples and so forth. Who knows one day, we may even have a home grown Singapore apple, created by one of our graduates."
